KSC Ventures was able to provide an exit strategy for the owners and the operating capital for the business. Jonathan Sawtelle is the General Manager and operating partner for DID.
Spero Health
Durham and Clark's first venture was in early 2014 and they sold the majority of that company in 2018 which was later branded Spero Health. They were essential in creating the mission, vision and values and remain minority shareholders today along with a number of private equity investors.
Spero Health, Inc., is an integrated healthcare services organization specializing in local and affordable drug and alcohol addiction treatment for individuals suffering from substance use disorder with a mission to “Save Lives, Instill Hope, and Restore Relationships”.

KSC Ventures was able to provide a 100% exit strategy for Mr. Brown and add future growth capital to the balance sheet. They have partnered with Nathan Frye who will serve as the GM and Operating Partner. For nearly 20 years Daniel Brown Plumbing has been serving the Louisville Metro area. KSC Ventures investment helped create a liquidity event for the founder, helped provide needed capital to the operating company and helped to build on the current and future management team.
Greener Roots Farm
Greener Roots Farm is Nashville's first commercial scale hydroponic vertical farm. GRF grows herbs, micro greens, and leafy greens indoors, year-round and supplies them to distributors, grocers, and restaurants in the Nashville and Atlanta areas. All of the produce is pesticide, herbicide, and GMO free and travels a fraction of the miles of traditional specialty crop to reach consumers. KSC Ventures partnered with William Crenshaw to provide an exit strategy for the founder and the acquisition and growth capital for the future of the company.

EZ Open Garage Doors opened in Danville, KY nearly 20 years ago with the goal of offering great customer service at a reasonable price. The same timeless values drive EZ Open today. EZ Open serves both residential and commercial clients. They focus on new construction replacement installation and repairs and service to existing doors. This focus has led EZ Open to be a brand leader in Danville and surrounding areas. KSC Ventures provided an exit strategy for the owner, forged a path for the former owner to retain a key role inside the company, provided growth capital and installed new management. EZ Open is well positioned to grow the brands reach and serve more clients throughout Central KY for years to come.

G&H will be sold under our Danville Industrial Distribution Company, which is led by Jonathan Sawtelle.
